Mihailesti heating distribution network

A thermal agent distribution network for heating and technological process has been completed in the city of Mihailesti.

Length of Fibreflex DUO 90 and 63 pipes delivered: 1000 m.

Initially, the technical project was developed by an external design company, taking into account pre-insulated 90 mm PEXa pipes, of a competitor manufacturer, pipes limited in size and range, resulting in a complicated network with 8 pipes in plan (initial diagram attached).

However, the beneficiary requested the simplification of the project by restricting the width of the routes, which was achieved by using the pre-insulated Kevlar-reinforced PEXa pipe, RK Infra Fibreflex DUO 90 mm (2 pipes in the same sheath).
The new solution was accepted by the investor and the proposed changes were implemented.

Fibreflex DUO 90 pipes are produced exclusively by RK Infra Austria, with competitors limiting the range to PEXa DUO 75 mm pipes.
In this project, the availability of PEXa pipes reinforced with Kevlar RK Infra Fibreflex DUO 90 helped to optimize both the network and the execution, bringing pluses such as high operational safety and reduced costs with materials and execution.

The project was optimized and executed in the final version by PRO HVAC Services Bucharest, a partner with extensive experience in the construction of pre-insulated networks.
